How is this development going to impact the traffic at 136th and Keystone?
For several months now, Old Town has been working with an independent engineering firm to monitor the flow of traffic at this roundabout. As reported in the Current, Josh Kirsh, the City of Carmel Engineering Administrator, has found that the heaviest traffic spans 15 to 20 minutes with vehicles waiting no more than two minutes. Through each study, we have determined that the additional traffic from our development will not significantly impact the current area.
Will the townhomes be rentals?
No. We are excited to bring a townhome product unique to Carmel that will be for-sale only.
What will the square footage be for the homes?
Single-family homes will range from 1,600 – 3,536 sq ft with a variety of floorplans including Ranch, Master on the Main or Master Down. The townhomes will range from 2,161 – 2,337 sq ft with up to 3 bed and 3.5 bath floorplans. Each residence will have a private outdoor living area, two car garage and open concept living areas.
Do you plan to keep the historic home on the property?
Yes! We are committed to preserving the historic home and have been working with City Councilors to determine the best use for the home.
